Mori is our newest "cat"egorical addition. She followed a dog and canary owner home , but letting the birds fly while the cat is free would be expensive cat food --- and closing doors would cause the dog to redecorate said doors. Rather than having her face an animal home (no tattoo, no microchip, no identification of the former owner), she's now with us.
Since she has a very silky fur, the silk worm (Bombyx mori) was the name giver.
