Here you can blank out Matte and Gloss, so that only Lustre finishes are shown.

I recommend the slightly more expensive Lustre, since this surface

• is color saturated like Gloss
• but is not prone to glare, similar to Matte
• nor is it susceptible to fingerprints, again similar to Matte

Unfortunately, not all sizes are available as Lustre:

• 24x36 inch (a bit more than 60x90cm) and
• 30x40 inch (a bit more than 75x100cm)

Another important filter is "Hide products that need to be cropped". By simply using that filter you can quickly find out if there are any sizes that fit exactly without cropping.
In this case the photo was made with a compact camera (3:4 format), so 2:3 formats all need cropping and are thus removed from this view.

Since this example photograph has only 2MPix, you cannot buy very large sizes (they'd not thrill you, pixelized and all).

You can Hide products that cannot be purchased, giving you a cleaner view on the possible sizes.

Choosing a size and finish (4x6", i.e. 10x15cm, Lustre here), you'll see how much cropping is needed in the photo display.
You'll also see the description of the finish choosen.

Needs cropping in checkout also alerts you to the need of cropping.

Now only non-crop sizes in "Lustre"-finish are shown, which you can actually buy.

After choosing all photographs you want to order, the first step of the ordering process commences.
Here you can:

• change to every available product (via product: ...). This allows you to check if a similar priced format needs less cropping.
• change the number of copies.
• change between crop and no-crop.
  I usually recommend no-crop and a matching format.
• change the cropping via adjust.
• switch on the automatic picture improvement (color: auto)
  I reccomend strongly leaving color: set to "true", as my images are already color corrected.
• duplicate the image via duplicate. This allows you to order the same image e.g. as
  • 1 x as 4x6 Lustre and
  • 3 x as

If you clicked to adjust the cropping, this is the screen you'll see. You can click&drag the blue frame to change the crop, or change the size of the frame by clicking and dragging the small box on the lower right. The aspect of the frame is given by the paper size you choose.

By rotate crop you can switch between portrait and landscape format for the cop.

To save the changes and return to the order step one, use the save changes button.

Be aware that you cannot make the frame larger than the photo, there is no way to crop the image partially and have a partially white border, too.
